The Mid Herts group of Raynet serves a much-urbanised area north of London and hosts many 'Carnival' type Parades and Festivals in it's principal towns.  Fun Runs and Walks also feature prominently in the summer calendar; by night in the case of the annual Scout Hike, and over a full weekend in the peak district when the endurance of all the various participants is tested to the limit. Nearer home at one of the more sedate Horse Riding events, some of the team pose beside the control vehicle. Later in the year, the firework display in Ware is a more colourful spectacle, and the season of activities is usually brought to a close with a Christmas Festival. © |
